To encourage a diversity of views in The Treaty Examiner, we welcome letters from our readers. If you support or disagree with one of our articles, send us a letter explaining your position through the form below.
Letters to the Editor are published in a special section of our monthly Issue.
Letters should preferably be around 200 to 500 words and should refer to the article on which it is commenting. Letters should be exclusive to The Treaty Examiner. We do not publish open letters or third-party letters. If your letter manifestly exceeds the above word count or you would like to comment on a publication made in another journal or magazine, we encourage you to submit it as an article or commentary.
Letters may be edited and shortened for space. Should we decide not to publish your letter, we will notify you within a week of the decision. The Treaty Examiner may reject your letter if it contains profanity or offensive language or personal attacks to an author; or if it contains calls to violence or criminal action, discriminatory views outside academic discussion or similar circumstances.
Writers of letters to the Editor are not included in the Authors page.
